As BroadwayWorld was deeply saddened to report on Friday, Broadway lost the legendary Stephen Sondheim, who passed away at the age of 91. Yesterday, November 28, hundreds of members of the Broadway community and casts of Broadway shows came together to celebrate and honor the life of the late Sondheim.
Marta Wins “Best Artist” At Ibiza Music Video Festival
London-based artist Marta was awarded “Best Artist” at the 2018 Ibiza Music Video Festival. She submitted two videos for consideration in the festival: “I Need A Love Story” and “All About Us.” The stunning music videos can be watched here.
Singer-Songwriter Marta Tapped To Curate Music For London Fashion Week Show
International artist Marta has been chosen by London-based designer Ada Zanditon to curate the music for the Ada Zanditon Couture's Spring Summer 2019 collection presentation during London Fashion Week. The playlist for the show will be composed of Marta's favorite current and retro tracks, including some of her very own music from her album The Story, which was released earlier this year. Marta's I NEED A LOVE STORY Reaches No. 1 Spot On Taste Of Country “Top 10” Music Videos
Rising star Marta snagged the top spot on Taste Of Country's weekly “Top 10” with her video for 'I Need A Love Story,' bringing in one of the biggest weeks of voting in the history of the poll. Marta's video debuted at the No. 4 spot just one week after her video's premiere, moving up to No. 3 after three weeks and then to the No. 2 spot just two weeks ago, before garnering the most votes for this past week's videos. Tribe of Fools Sets 3rd Annual Holiday Burlesque for 12/31
Tribe of Fools is bringing back their popular Holiday Burlesque with this year's installment Naughty New Years. Tribe's new holiday tradition provides a holiday themed show for adults. Artistic Director Terry Brennan came up with the idea because "the majority of the holiday season is so geared towards kids that sometimes adults feel overwhelmed and left out. We wanted to provide one night of holiday fun that's just for adults."

Save The Day Productions signature series, Super Heroes Who Are Super!, presented every Second Saturday by Plays & Players, delivers word-for-word staged readings of comic books that at once celebrate and parody the soap operatic qualities of classic Marvel and DC comics. Each performance runs approximately one hour and features one or two comic books brought to life with the best in low budget costumes and special effects, witty word play and absurd physical hijinks alike.

Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.
