The Wizard of Oz is set to play at the Brindley Theatre in Runcorn from April 11th through April 13th and at Albert Halls in Bolton from April 15th through April 16th. The production is set to star Bruce Jones of Coronation Streets 'Les Batterby' as the Wizard and Channel 5's Milkshake star Amy Thompson as Dorothy.

Eager for the work, Belinda quickly discovers the job is not quite what it seems and it isn't long before she finds herself immersed in a dark and disturbing world involving criminal activity.

This all-female dark comedy, written by Cat Kolubayev and directed by Anastasia Bruce-Jones, Assistant Dramaturg of Robert Icke's The Doctor, will star Adeline Waby (Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Apollo Theatre; The Midwife, Acid Rainbow) and Madison Clare (Semi-Detached, BBC; Captain Corelli's Mandolin, UK tour/Harold Pinter Theatre) as Francine and Marla with Helena Antoniou (Call the Midwife, BBC; Trial by Laughter, UK Tour/Watermill Theatre) as Belinda.
