There's no doubt that dark times are ahead for the people of Berlin in this faithful recreation of the tawdry 1998 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of CABARET. Using the original Broadway sets by Robert Brill and costumes by William Ivey Long, this Ogunquit Playhouse version, running now through August 10, is rough, tough and gritty, taking the implied decadence and hedonism of pre-World War II Germany and attaching it blatantly to every denizen of the speakeasy known as the Kit Kat Klub.

North Shore Music Theatre to Present New England Professional Premiere of THE LITTLE MERMAID, 7/8 - 7/27
Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is set to take family audiences on an underwater musical adventure with the New England Premiere of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID. This highly anticipated theatrical event has already been extended for an extra week with performances starting Tuesday July 8, and now playing through Sunday, July 27. Press night is scheduled for Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 pm.
Lost Orson Welles' TOO MUCH JOHNSON, Found in Italy
George Eastman House, together with the National Film Preservation Foundation (NFPF), the Cineteca del Friuli, and Cinemazero today announced the recovery of Mercury Theatre's long-lost Too Much Johnson, directed by Orson Welles in 1938. The silent film was found in a warehouse by the staff of Cinemazero, an art house in Pordenone, Italy.
