New World Stages Starts Karaoke Idol 2010, 8/5
New World Stages will present KARAOKE IDOL 2010 for five consecutive Thursday nights, with weekly eliminations, beginning this Thursday August 5th, 10 pm - midnight. After the resounding success of their pilot 'season' last summer, New World Stages has upped the ante this year with bigger cash prizes, hotter themes and even more fabulous celebrity judges. Audience votes determine who will move on in the competition and who will be this year's 'Idol' winning over $1000 in prizes!

On Sunday, May 17th, Mintyfresh Comedy presented the first annual 'Miss Fag Hag Pageant' as a benefit for the Hetrick-Martin Institute, home of the Harvey Milk School. The show was a huge success and played to a packed house full of Broadway, television, radio and comedy stars.
