The BAMkids Film Festival, now in its 22nd year, returns to BAM Rose Cinemas on February 1 & 2, 2020. This year's impressive lineup, tailored for children ages 3a?"11, showcases 87 films from 30 countries in ten languages. This year's festival includes short film programs curated by the Northwest Film Forum, Melbourne International Animation Festival, Cinekid, and Eye International, featuring animated animals, adventures, and magical journeys from around the world for children ages 5a?"9, shorts programs for children 8+ and 9+, and two shorts programs specifically for children ages 3a?"6.

Articulate Theatre Company's production of Doctor Frankenstein gears up for a limited run starting November 8. Articulate is thrilled to have George Allison's new play, 'Doctor Frankenstein,' inaugurate their residency as part of the historic West End Theatre's Consortium located on the second floor of the historic Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew (263 W 86th St, New York City). The award-winning theatre company The Anthropologists will bring their critically acclaimed play Artemisia's Intent to Jersey City's Art House Productions this October. Winner of Best Solo Drama (2018 FRIGID Festival), Artemisia's Intent delivers a tour-de-force performance to unearth the life, work and words of 17th century painter Artemisia Gentileschi. The show will launch its Fall 2019 regional tour at Art House Productions (262 17th Street Jersey City, NJ 07310) on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 at 8PM. The award winning theatre company The Anthropologists (NYC) will tour their critically acclaimed play Artemisia's Intent to Massachusetts and New Jersey this October. Winner of Best Solo Drama (2018 FRIGID Festival), Artemisia's Intent delivers a tour-de-force performance to unearth the life, work and words of 17th century painter Artemisia Gentileschi. Performances will kick off at Art House Productions in Jersey City on October 18-19, followed by a one night only engagement at the historic Cape May Stage on October 21. From there, the show travels to Massachusetts to the brand new Peabody Black Box on October 25. Tickets for all performances are $25.

Award-winning Artemisia's Intent makes its Rhode Island debut this July, bringing to life the work of Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi at the 5th Annual Providence Fringe Festival.
