URINETOWN Mac-Haydn Theatre Debut Next Week

'Urinetown' makes its debut at the Mac-Haydn Theatre, running July 7-17. Planned for the Mac-Haydn's 2020 season (but postponed due to COVID), the production is two years in the making.

BWW Review: THE GLASS MENAGERIE at Arena Dinner Theater

One of the true joys of the Arena Dinner Theatre is its ability to pack a wide variety of styles and genres into a single season. After a musical drama, a murder mystery, and two comedies, Arena gives us a classic drama: 'The Glass Menagerie.' The semi-autobiographical play by Tennessee Williams was written in 1944, it takes place in 1937 during the Depression. It gives a fictionalized back story of his mentally unstable sister, their overbearing mother, and his own escape from the harsh reality he grew up in.
Acclaimed FISK JUBILEE SINGERS To Headline Ryman 125th Anniversary Concert

The world-renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers - who are among the trailblazing artists who have helped Nashville to assume the moniker of "Music City USA" - will perform at the historic Ryman Auditorium on Sunday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. in a concert celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Ryman, which over the course of its history has become known as "the mother church of country music."

Full Cast Announced for Seattle Shakespeare's THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA and JULIUS CAESAR, 7/10-8/10

Casting is announced for Seattle Shakespeare Company's free Wooden O productions of The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Julius Caesar which start performances on Thursday, July 10. Both productions will perform in park venues throughout King County (please see attached schedule) and then transfer to Walla Walla, WA as part of Shakespeare Walla Walla.
SHIDA Ends Limited Off-Broadway Engagement Today

The new musical SHIDA, written and performed by Jeannette Bayardelle -- whose Broadway appearances include leading roles in THE COLOR PURPLE and HAIR - will end its strictly limited engagement today, Wednesday, August 28 with the 8pm performance. SHIDA will have played 12 previews and 36 regular performances.
