The Actors Fund announced today the premiere of The American Pops Orchestra’s Drag Out the Holly: A Holiday Drag Extravaganza on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 9:00PM – 10:00PM ET via a free private broadcast. The Wilma Theater, William Way LGBT Community, Philadelphia Fight and More Team Up to Provide Community Spaces for #PHILLY4PULSE

On June 14, 2016, owners and representatives from some of the Philadelphia's most popular LGBTQ bars and clubs along with the William Way Community Center, announced a huge historic fundraiser, PHILLY4PULSE, to support victims of the recent attacks at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub. The community is producing a one night massive event for the victims and families of Pulse Nightclub on July 21, 2016. The William Way LGBT Community Center has released additional details about their portion of PHILLY4PULSE, as well as additional community partners.
JQH Appoints Brian Sims as General Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville South Cool Springs

Most recently, Sims served as senior regional director of operations for O'Reilly Hospitality Management, where he helped to grow the company's hotel and restaurant portfolio, ranging from Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham and independent-branded properties. Sims is one of 10 individuals included in the inaugural Circle of Leadership for the DoubleTree by Hiilton brand, which focuses on individualized training and leadership development to support the brand's service culture. His career also includes 11 years with JQH in the roles of general manager and assistant general manager at full service properties in Arkansas, Missouri and West Virginia. Sims is actively involved in local Rotary Clubs and Convention and Visitors Bureaus.

The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards were held last night, March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event was hosted by Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. Colman Domingo's 'A Boy and His Soul', produced by the Vineyard Theatre, won the Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway award, while 'She Likes Girls' by Chisa Hutchison took home the award in the Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway category. The Broadway musical HAIR received a Special Recognition Award for their support of LGBT equality.
