THE LONESOME WEST Returns To The Everyman
The Everyman has announced that its enormously popular production of Martin McDonagh's The Lonesome West returns for 10 performances only from April 7th. In 2018, under the direction of the theatre's Artistic Director, Julie Kelleher, McDonagh's vicious comedy was a hit with audiences and critics alike and secured a nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category for John McCarthy, playing one of the feuding brothers, at the Irish Times Theatre Awards.

David Crosby And The Weight Band Head to King Center
Five decades after The Band released "Music From Big Pink," The Weight Band is harnessing the solemn fire and fury of that landmark, groundbreaking and epic album with a live show that is timeless. The Weight Band originated in 2013 inside the famed Woodstock, New York barn of Levon Helm. Leading the charge are guitarist and vocalist Jim Weider of The Band and Levon Helm Band, and keyboard player Brian Mitchell of the Levon Helm Band. The entire ensemble channels the spirit of The Band while showcasing the talent of musicians who have played with some of the biggest names in the music industry.
THE MINISTRY OF BISCUITS Comes to Barons Court Theatre
In Post-War London, The Ministry of Biscuits casts its sinister shadow over every tea-time and elevenses in the land. Established to 'control biscuits, and to control the idea of biscuits,' it prohibits decadent sweetmeats, such as the Gypsy Cream. But when Cedric Hobson, a junior designer, falls in love and designs a biscuit to 'shake confectionery to its very foundations,' his world - and the ministry - are turned upside down.
Weight Band With Former Members Of The Band at SOPAC 12/9
The Weight Band, the re-imagined band of legendary rock group The Band, will perform Sunday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. at South Orange Performing Arts Center. The Weight Band is dedicated to honoring the legacy of The Band and is comprised of former members and those who have worked closely with The Band over the decades. Audiences will enjoy an unforgettable performance and hear timeless hits like 'The Weight,' 'Up On Cripple Creek,' 'Ophelia,' 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,' 'Rag Mama Rag' and so many others. THE LONESOME WEST Thrills Audiences
Now in it's third week, Martin McDonagh's The Lonesome West is bringing large and appreciative audiences to the Everyman Theatre in Cork City. This blackest of black comedies, the third play in McDonagh's seminal work The Leenane Trilogy, is brilliantly realised in this production. The Everyman is maintaining its tradition of presenting top-quality theatre with this offering directed by it's Artistic Director, Julie Kelleher. It opened to huge critical acclaim in late July and continues until Saturday, 25th August.

Written by the Oscar nominated Martin McDonagh, The Lonesome West will be the third in-house production from The Everyman this year following on from the success of Kevin Barry's Autumn Royal and the adaptation of Louise O'Neill's Asking For It. Directed by Julie Kelleher, who is also the Artistic Director of The Everyman, The Lonesome West opens on Tuesday, 31st July and continues until Saturday, 25th August.
