Brendan has performed with and without puppets all over the world. He got his puppetry start with John Tartaglia's Imaginocean, which he took to the Sydney Opera House! Since then, he learned how to build puppets at "The Puppet Kitchen" in NYC, has been in workshops hosted by Sesame Street, joined the Puppetry Guild of Greater New York, and became a Professor of Puppetry at PACE school of performing arts.

The producers for Rescue Rue at DR2 Theatre have announced the show will return after a holiday hiatus. Originally scheduled to conclude performances on January 16, 2022, the show will now pause performances until the New Year, and the run will be extended to Sunday, January 30, 2022 with performances on a new varying schedule.

Producing Artistic Director Chuck Tobin today announced the July 31 opening of Neil Simon's comedy Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Saint Michael's Playhouse in Colchester, Vermont. Laughter on the 23rd Floor is directed by Catherine Doherty who has directed numerous SMP productions including You Can't Take It With You, See How They Run, The 39 Steps.

National Tour of ANNIE Gets Heckled at DC's National Theatre
According to the Washington Post, the national touring cast of ANNIE got heckled this week at DC's National Theatre. The heckler attended the show Tuesday night, and is said to have yelled, 'That was terrible!' from his seat, following the number 'We'd Like to Thank You Herbert Hoover.' There were no reported reactions from the cast or the other audience members during the incident.
