BIO
Brenda has produced, directed and performed onstage and on camera in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, Chicago and Milwaukee. She received a BA in Theatre and a minor in mass communications from Illinois State University. She became a member of SAG/AFTRA while living in Los Angeles.
Past credits include Annabella/Pamela/Margaret in 39 Steps (Welk Resort Theater), Eliante in School for Lies, Audrey in Leading Ladies, Judy in Perfect Wedding & Mina in Dracula (North Coast Repertory Theatre), and Mary Hatch in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Cygnet Theatre).
Before co-founding Forte Theatre Company with husband Randall Dodge, Brenda created Character Kids LLC, a children’s theatre company that works with professional actors to provide after school theatre classes to elementary schools, park districts and community centers throughout the country. Character Kids currently operates in the Milwaukee, San Diego and Chicagoland areas.
