First Folio Theatre Presents ALL CHILDISH THINGS As Its First Production Of 2019
For its first performance in 2019, First Folio Theatre (Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83.) is thrilled to present Joseph Zettelmaier's contemporary comedy heist ALL CHILDISH THINGS, previewing January 23-25, opening January 26 and running through February 24, 2019. "Witty, suspenseful, and wonderfully revealing about friendship," according to The Cincinnati Enquirer, ALL CHILDISH THINGS gives audiences the chance to laugh into the New Year, reminisce on their childhood and experience the carefree and clumsy antics of an easy-to-love cohort of friends.

Created to showcase and support Chicago's burgeoning field of musical theatre creators, this year's festival will be held August 9 - 28, 2016 at Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Each production will receive four performances during the Festival. The full schedule (Tuesdays - Sundays) and can be found at www.cmtf.org, with tickets currently on sale ($20 per show, $200 all-festival rush passes). The press "sneak preview," featuring a sampling of songs from the 2016 Festival, is Monday, August 8 at 7:30 pm.

American Blues Theater, one of Chicago's oldest Equity ensemble, and Producing Director Gwendolyn Whiteside are proud to announce the return of the critically acclaimed It's a Wonderful Life: Live in Chicago!, directed by Marty Higginbotham, now at its new venue: the mainstage of the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave., November 22 - December 29. Pink Previews, where tickets sales benefit the Lynn Sage Foundation for breast cancer research, are Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The press/opening night performance is Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2:30 p.m. The running time is approximately 90 minutes. After 17 years, Tony n' Tina are heading on their honeymoon. Route 66 Theatre Company will present the Chicago premiere of HIGH FIDELITY in its first major production since its Broadway run in 2006. The show started previews August 8, 2009; opened Monday, August 17 at 7 p.m.; and will run through October 11, 2009 at the Tony n' Tina's Wedding space at Pipers Alley Theater.
