On February 6th at Joe's Pub in New York City, Lisa Fox and the David Lynch Foundation (DLF) will host a book launch party and meet-and-greet featuring longtime meditators Jerry Seinfeld, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness to celebrate the release of Bob Roth's new book Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation. Proceeds from the launch event and the sale of the book will go towards teaching women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to meditate through the Manhattan Family Justice Center.

The Black Keys will perform, and Jeff Bhasker will act as Musical Director for A$AP Rocky, Mikky Ekko, Lykke Li and Miguel. The event is set for tonight, December 10th at the Highline Ballroom in New York City.

Commissioner Yolanda B. Jimenez of the Mayor's Office was honored at the event with the David Lynch Foundation's Lifetime of Service Award for her dedication to victims of domestic violence. The David Lynch Foundation will launch its new performance division, DLF Live, at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival today, June 15, 2013. DLF Live will harness the power of arts and creativity to bring meditation to at-risk communities. The launch will be marked by a screening of Meditation, Creativity, Peace, a documentary highlighting filmmaker David Lynch and his decades-long dedication to meditation and the arts. The screening is sponsored by the David Lynch Foundation (DLF) and will be hosted by James McCartney, musician and son of legend Paul McCartney and Bob Roth, Executive Director of DLF.
