He has been a professional Stage and Film actor for over 50 years as a member of Professional Screen Actors Guild and The Actors Equity Association with many major motion picture under his belt, T.V Commercials, and numerous stage & Television appearances , What’s My Line, To Tell Me The Truth, Candid Camera both New York and Florida programs .
Off Broadway he played the part of Conrad in Bye Bye Birdie and had a huge following and fan club and his admiration for teens led him to where he is now. His theatre and film friends number in the hundreds, from Jane Russell, Ed Asner, Stacy Keach, Marilyn Michaels, Karl Malden, Sammy Davis Jr. and more He is a Carbonell Award winning and nominated producer , Author, Lecturer, Entertainer, Artistic Director, Radio Talk show host WJNA with Chuck Zink and Alan Diskin, Syndicated Theatre Critic for numerous papers and magazines, some still in business and some out of business. He can boast of over 60 thousand articles written in over 35 years. He created the Boca Raton Professional Actshop under the cities Tom Alexander , and was the director at the Actshop facility that was given to him at the Boca Raton Library for two years, He prides his huge collection of Political Celebrities as well as televison,. Film and Stage stsars who have personally autographed his memoribilia Lettrs, Photo’s, Scripts and more.

He was public relations contact for the after school teens Veterans Park facility, started the Drama classes and raised a lot of money doing concerts in the park located there, on behalf of it’s director Ellen VaHab, Also did public relations for the new Sunrise Park Elementary School and Alan Goldstein it’s principal as well as Eagles Landing Middle School in West Boca Raton . And is now doing publicity for Temple Beth Shira fund raising event in Boca Raton. Aside from his dream as A Teen Advocate,
Burt Richards was awarded in 2006 Boca’s Promise, The Alliance for Youth award , for dedication and persistence in advocating for youth activities in West Boca Raton. April 2008 received the Presidents Award from George W. Bush for Academic achievement for his dedication
At 78 his is still going strong Founding the Coffee House Theatre at the Academic High School in West Boca Raton producing fund raising Live adult musical shows and play readings and teen talent nights with teens entertaining teens with Rock & Roll groups, Singers, Dancers, Poets for the benefit of the teens to have retreat to go to and keep out of trouble. Mr. Richards was now working as campaign manager for Candidate Sheldon Klassy Klasfeld For Florida State Rep
