The evening will honor Tony/Grammy/Emmy Award-winner Marc Shaiman (Hairspray and Mary Poppins Returns), who will receive FNAM's first Inspire Award; and FNAM Founding-member Robert Klein, who will receive the first Founders Award.

Rudi's Organic Bakery, one of the country's largest organic bread brands, today announced the launch of two new breads in partnership with Community Grains, a company dedicated to improving supply chain traceability through partnerships with local grain farmers. Rudi's Organic Bakery Whole Wheat Bread made with Sacramento Valley Whole Grain Flour and Whole Wheat Bread made with Hungry Hollow Whole Grain Flour will launch at Whole Foods Markets nationwide in March 2017. The new breads allow consumers to trace the grain used in each loaf back to the farm where it was grown.

After a nationwide search for new short musicals created by young writers, the six final shows have been selected for SHOWSEARCH, produced by The Festival of New American Musicals in residence at University of California, Irvine.
FNAM & UC Irvine Launch ShowSearch for New Musicals
The Festival of New American Musicals and the University of California, Irvine a nnounce the launch of a nationwide search for new, short musicals created by writers between the ages of 14 - 23. The Festival produced a pilot of ShowSearch in 2013 in Los Angeles. Its success in attracting creative responses from young writers representing over 40 states has led to this new cooperative relationship between FNAM and UC Irvine Department of Drama.
