BIO

Blake trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and previously, at the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati.

He can next be seen playing Askold in Season 6 of popular History channel series Vikings.

Blake is a member of the Factory Theatre Company, under the artistic direction of Alex Hassel. The Factory is currently rehearsing a production of Macbeth, in which Blake will be playing Malcolm. He is an Associate Artist with Heady Conduct Theatre Company with whom he developed and performed in the inaugural production of their new play, Reckless. Blake then appeared as Angelo in the company's second production of Measure for Measure, which performed in April 2016 as part of the commemorations of Shakespeare's death. Both shows were staged at the Rose Playhouse, Bankside. This summer, the company took a production of All's Well that Ends Well to the Minack Theatre in Cornwall, in which he played Parolles.

Blake has appeared in the Midsummer Scene Festival at Fort Lovrijenac in Dubrovnik, Croatia. He played Horatio in the first major production of Hamlet in South East Europe with a woman in the title role. This was an international collaboration, involving creatives and producers from the UK, US and Croatia.

Other productions in the UK include As Is at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, As You Like It and Enemies, both at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and Eloise is Under an Almond Tree with the Spanish Theatre Company. For most of 2018, Blake performed in Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors in Sydney and Auckland (The Pop-up Globe Theatre Company).

In the U.S., Blake has performed as an Equity Company member of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, appearing as Antipholus of Syracuse in Comedy of Errors, Cassio in Othello, and Buckingham in The Three Musketeers.

Other theatre credits in the US include, Mary's Wedding (Hudson Stage Company); Madison (Premiere Stages); The Rivals, Coriolanus, London Assurance (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey); The Immie Queen (Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati).
