Atlanta's LGBTQ Film Festival OUT ON FILM Announces Lineup
The Oscar qualifying film festival, which was included on MovieMaker Magazine’s “50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee” list, once again offers a diverse selection of films from highly anticipated studio efforts to independent films, and international to local Georgia and Atlanta productions as part of its carefully curated hybrid presentation.

GLAAD announced the nominees for the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.
FOUR, YOUNG AND WILD and More Set for New York LGBT Film Festival Line-Up, Now thru 7/31
NewFest (www.newfest.org), New York's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Film Festival will soon roll out the rainbow carpet for its 24th season, from tonight, July 27th through Tuesday, July 31st. The stellar lineup includes fourteen narrative features, four documentaries and many anticipated short films. New this year, all screenings and panels will take place at Manhattan's film mecca, The Film Society of Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater, marking a continued relationship between the two pioneering film organizations.

At last night's 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards, Cher and Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (R-CA) presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Chaz Bono, and Benicio Del Toro presented the Vanguard Award to Josh Hutcherson. Glee stars Max Adler and Grant Gustin presented the Rodemeyer family. Jamey Rodemeyer died by suicide at age 14 last year. Watch videos of the three award presentations below!

Last night on Tuesday, April 13, Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gay priest to be ordained a bishop in a major Christian denomination, lead a talk back with cast and audience following a performance of NEXT FALL on Broadway. Robinson currently serves as the ninth bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire in the Episcopal Church. The talkback was free to anyone attending last night's performance.
