Christmas Rappings is back in a very special 50th Anniversary concert production of this beloved Greenwich Village tradition-a Christmas oratorio unlike any other. When Al Carmines introduced audiences to Rappings on December 14, 1969, they had come to expect the surprising range and inventiveness of this multiple Obie-award winner, but perhaps not an evening that faithfully tells the Christmas story through such a high-spirited, often funny, collision of musical genres, from country to classical to blues to gospel, and even with a rousing tango.
Florida Repertory Theatre Purchases Historic Arcade Theatre, Bradford Block, And Adjacent Parking Lot
Florida Repertory Theatre's leadership and Board of Directors are pleased to announce it has purchased the Bradford block in downtown Fort Myers, which contains the Historic Arcade Theatre, ArtStage Studio Theatre, and other Florida Rep facilities, as well as the parking lot across Bay Street. This milestone purchase was made possible by multiple transformational gifts from a group of anonymous donors, given solely for the company to purchase the property. The acquisition secures the company's future into its next twenty-one years and beyond.

Our vision is to create an approachable event with educational components, highlight North Carolina's finest restaurants & culinary talents by pairing them with wine from all around the globe. This event will also serve as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for local charities and missions. We will open up all three levels of the famed DPAC for attendants to engage with restaurants and wineries in addition to an on-stage experience highlighting the North Carolina Wine Industry and the Agriculture that feeds it.
