by Stephi Wild - Apr 18, 2023
When Mo Alexander hits the stage, it's clear that you're in the hands of a man who knows what he's doing. With comedy influences such as Bill Hicks, Paul Mooney, and Richard Pryor, Mo combines intelligence and debauchery into a product that is just as funny as it is important.
Review: THE ONE-EYED STRANGER at The Joint Theater
by Theresa Bertram - Mar 21, 2023
What did our critic think of THE ONE-EYED STRANGER at The Joint Theater? Nestled in the Argenta District is, quite possibly, the best little comedy club ever. Exaggeration? I don't think so. The Joint Comedy Theater, 301 Main St #102, in North Little Rock, is now my newest favorite place to go. Yes, I've only gone once (and shame on all my friends who didn't tell me about this gem), and I will return. For my inaugural visit Saturday, March 18, I saw the hilarious ONE-EYED STRANGER with The Main Thing Comedy Trio, starring Steve Farrell, Vicki Farrell, and Brett Ihler. I did not stop laughing from the time they hit the stage until time to take their bows, and I am 'serious as a little baby owl!' Don't miss this show!

Review: REUBEN KAYE: THE BUTCH IS BACK, Soho Theatre
by Franco Milazzo - Sep 6, 2022
Those new to Reuben Kaye should be warned that there are few holy cows that he is unwilling to turn into beefburgers. Sexuality, gender, race, politics, economics and religion are all grist to his mill. Imagine if legendary comedians Bill Hicks and George Carlin had a bastard child in the shape of a glitterbomb and you'll have some idea of what to expect.

by Michael Major - May 23, 2022
In marrying his two favorite genres, Beau Nair created Funktry, a style to unify his sweet melodies and saucy lyrics with a groove so deep it'll leave marks on your sphincter. No better is that uniquely Beau Nair Funktry sound heard than on his debut album “Truth Or Nair and specifically on the first single “I’m So Hard”.
