Over The River And Through The Woods was the opening production at the Burton Leavitt Theatre in 2003 and the WTG will bring this heartwarming comedy back to the BLT Stage after fifteen years. Tina Huey directs the extremely talented cast of actors, some of whom you have seen recently; some returning after a hiatus and some brand new to the WTG: Angela Dias, Bill Emerson, Debi Freund, Rachel Lyon, Ken Noll and Andrew Rosenstein.
Hoedown on the Harpeth 2018 Seeks Fiddle Contestants
Fiddlers of all ages are invited to participate in the 2nd annual "Tennessee Style" fiddle contest at Hoedown On The Harpeth. Beginner and intermediate fiddlers will compete with fellow-aged fiddlers for cash prizes and ribbons in the following groups: Tadpole 0-10, Junior 10-14, Middle 14-18. The Open Championship will also have a cash prize and is a fine chance for fiddlers to showcase their contribution to Tennessee Fiddling - it is open to any age and whoever thinks they've got it!

Based on a true story, the play is an inspiring tribute to the real people who lost their lives on September 11th in the line of duty as well as a depiction of how everyone has something to contribute in the aftermath of such a tragedy. You will laugh and you will cry as you journey through an afternoon with Joan, the writer and Nick, the fire captain who lost most of his men on 9/11, as they work together to remember the lives lost while experiencing the spirit of the city and the bonds of common humanity.
