BIO

Bevin is an actress, singer, voice-over artist, documentary filmmaker and puppeteer based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from California, she holds a BA in Film and Digital Media and Theatre Arts from UC Santa Cruz, and an MFA in Acting from Wayne State in Detroit. Favorite roles have included Mary in Murder on the Orient Express at The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Nora in A Doll's House, Part Two at Chenango River Theatre, Angie in Everyone's a Hero with Somebody Else's Tit (A One Woman Show) at Solo Fest at Theatre Row, Roberta White in Speakeasy, a New Musical at Theatre for the New City, Diana in Next to Normal at The Nevada Theatre, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream at Oklahoma Shakespeare Festival and Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo at Hilberry Repertory Theatre. Documentary producer credits include La Vie en Verte (Life in Green): The WAMM Movie, and Tales From The Long Memory. Bevin is currently a company member and puppeteer for Shadow Box Theatre in NYC, and can be heard voicing several characters in Mar-Mar Productions' A Comedy of Errors animated series on youtube @MarMarProductions

New Musical SPEAKEASY to Receive Reading at TNC Next Week

The creative team of Speakeasy: John and Jane Allison in the Wonderland, a fantastical musical of Prohibition-era NYC queer life written and composed by Danny Ashkenasi, has announced a free public reading to be held on Monday, December 7th at 7pm as part of Theater for the New City's 'New City, New Blood' Reading Series. Lissa Moira directs a cast of 14, including Camille Atkinson, Torian Brackett, Anne Bragg, Tim Connell*, Chris D'Amico, Darcy Dunn, Rosalie Graziano*, Bevin Bell Hall, Brian Michael Henry*, Brian C. Jones, Rebecca Marquardt, Bri Molloy, Allie Radice*, and Zach Wachter. Music direction by Jonathan Fox Powers. The reading will be held at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets) in New York City's East Village.
