The Southbank Centre Announces Jubilee Events This June
The Southbank Centre today announces a programme to mark Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Taking place across Wednesday 1 - Sunday 5 June 2022, the Southbank Centre's eclectic programme of Jubilee events encompasses both “Official” and “Alternative” Royal Command Performances alongside classical music, punk, dance, performance and parties, to appeal to diverse and wide-ranging audiences.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) and OBERON are pleased to announce that due to the highticket demand for the production pool (no water), an additional performance has been added to the limited run schedule. The new schedule is as follows:

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) has announced fall programming at OBERON, featuring limited engagements of exciting work by groundbreaking artists. The lineup for October and November includes POOL (NO WATER) by Mark Ravenhill, created by One Year Lease Theater Company and directed by Ianthe Demos; SHIDA, a new musical in development, written and performed by Broadway powerhouse Jeannette Bayardelle and directed by Andy Sandberg; and RUBY WAX: SANE NEW WORLD, written and performed by the incomparable comedienne and actor Ruby Wax.
Best Makes Directoral Debut With RSC's MACBETH, With Millson And Spiro
Shakespeare's classic exploration of ambition, guilt and destiny opens at the Globe on 22 June 2013, the third and final play in the Season of Plenty's trio of supernatural Shakespeares. The production features Joseph Millson and Samantha Spiro as the murderous couple at the heart of the play, with Billy Boyd as Banquo and Gawn Grainger as Duncan. Celebrated cabaret artist Bette Bourne will play the Porter.

One Year Lease Theater Company presents the New York premiere of pool (no water) by controversial English playwright Mark Ravenhill (Shopping and F*cking) for a limited Off-Broadway run from tonight, May 9 through May 26 at 9th Space (150 First Avenue, at 9th Street).
