RhinoLeap welcomes back Phillip Bernard Smith. He joins the cast of DONTRELL WHO KISSED THE SEA. His previous RhinoLeap productions includes, Leaving Eden and Driving Miss Daisy. Some of his other theatre credits are The Mountaintop, Gem of The Ocean, Radio Golf, The Piano Lesson, The Royale, The Whipping Man, Once on This Island, The Meeting, The Color Purple, Porgy and Bess, Gospel at Colonus, Macbeth, and Twelfth Night.
THE MOUNTAINTOP Opens Next Week at Raleigh Little Theatre
Raleigh Little Theatre concludes its 2020-21 season with Katori Hall's “The Mountaintop,” running June 10-19 in RLT's outdoor Louise “Scottie” Stephenson Amphitheatre. The production is sponsored by North State Bank and features the directorial debut of Phillip Bernard Smith.

THE MOUNTAINTOP to Run 2/24-27 at Roxy Regional Theatre
On the evening of April 3, 1968, after delivering one of his most memorable speeches, an exhausted Dr. King retired to his room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. In this gripping re-imagination of events occurring in the hours before his assassination, playwright Katori Hall picks up with a fictional depiction of a mysterious stranger who arrives at the motel room with some surprising news, forcing Dr. King to confront his destiny and his legacy to his people.
