Joanne Clifton Joins JACK IN THE BEANSTALK Panto
It was revealed today that Joanne Clifton will be playing the role of Fairy Sugarsnap in Jack And The Beanstalk, which is co-produced by The Marlowe and Evolution and opens on Friday 26 November.
Duncan James Joins Marlowe Theatre Pantomime JACK AND THE BEANSTALK
Duncan is well-known as a member of pop group Blue. The band formed in 2001 and have had 40 number one singles worldwide, three number one UK albums and sales of over 16 million records. They took a break in 2005, before reforming to represent the UK at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury Announces Socially Distanced NURSE NELLIE SAVES PANTO
Nurse Nellie Saves Panto, running between Friday 11 December to Sunday 3 January, will be performed to a socially distanced audience and will star much-loved panto legend Ben Roddy who has played the Dame in The Marlowe's pantomimes for the last ten years. He will be joined by a cast of other Marlowe pantomime favourites, to be announced soon.
MOTHER GOOSE Comes to The Marlowe
Mother Goose, this year's Marlowe Theatre pantomime, stars TV's Dr Ranj Singh and Olivier Award-winning actor Jenna Russell, alongside local favourites Ben Roddy and Lloyd Hollett.
Further Casting Announced For The RSC Productions Of THE PROVOKED WIFE and VENICE PRESERVED
The Royal Shakespeare Company has today announced further casting for its forthcoming double-bill of Restoration plays, John Vanbrugh's The Provoked Wife and Thomas Otway's Venice Preserved. The Provoked Wife, directed by Phillip Breen, plays in repertoire from the 2 May 2019 with Venice Preserved, directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah, running from 24 May 2019 in the Swan Theatre.
