The youth edition of 'School of Rock,' Andrew Lloyd Webber's current Broadway Tony nominated hit musical, is on stage through August 28 at The Media Theatre. With performances on Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7pm, and Sundays at 3pm, 'School of Rock' features a young cast playing all the roles and singing the memorable score with songs like 'You're In The Band' and 'Stick It To The Man.' Media Theatre Stages New JUNGLE BOOK This Summer
Mowgli, Baloo, and the gang are ready to entertain this summer each weekend at The Media Theatre in 'The Jungle Book'. In this new live-action version written by Tim Haney with music by Ben Kapilow, audiences will find humor and heart as Mowgli grows up with the assistance of animal friends.
Cast Announced for TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD at Media Theatre
?The Media Theatre has the Philadelphia/ Wilmington region's only professional production of the classic play 'To Kill A Mockingbird' starting January 27. Advance sales and buzz surrounding the production are so strong that the theatre is extending it by one week. 'To Kill A Mockingbird' will now close on February 21, rather than the previously announced closing date.
Media Theatre Sets THE WHO'S TOMMY Cast
The Media Theatre's Broadway Series starts up again in September, but until then several professional actors who have appeared on its stage will headline the classic rock and roll musical 'The Who's Tommy' in July and August.
