Singer-actor-performer Darren Criss, who has had a multi-faceted career spanning television, film, music and stage, and who is currently starring in the FX series 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace,' appeared at the Sundance ASCAP Music Café on Monday, January 22nd. Criss performed songs from his recent EP, Homework (which debuted at #1 on Billboard Heatseekers album chart), and shared the story of his songwriting career.

PETER PAN to Run 1/24-29 at Parker PACE Center
This January, the PACE Center and Starkey Theatrix present the classic tale of Peter Pan. This is a one-of-a-kind theatrical production for PACE, as multiple characters will fly through the air, thanks to the mechanisms of Flying by Foy. This aerial effects company has been called "the most prolific and widely-respected theatrical flying service in the world." They have collaborated on several well-known Broadway productions such as The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan with the great Cathy Rigby.

The Arvada Center will open A Christmas Carol, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. This Broadway rendition of a family holiday favorite will run through December 22 in the Main Stage Theater. Previews are November 22 - 24 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please note: There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. An additional performance has been added on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, December 6 after the 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, December 11 after the 1:00 p.m. show. Adult ticket prices start at $53, and children's tickets are half price. Dicke's directorial credits include Xanadu and The Hobbit, among others. Starkey Theatrix, who also produced Always...Patsy Cline and Little Shop of Horrors at the PACE Center, will be producing Bingo.

The award winning Arvada Center brings Christmas joy with MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET-THE MUSICAL playing now through December 23rd. The musical is based on the story 'Miracle on 34th Street' by Valentine Davies; book, music and lyrics were written and composed by Meredith Willson (The Music Man and The Unsinkable Molly Brown). As Miracle on 34th Street unfolds, a wise old white bearded gentlemen claiming to be Kris Kringle shows up in New York City only to discover that the holiday to which he is eternally associated has become tarnished by commercialism and greed. When he gets hired as Santa Claus at Macy's, the jolly old gentleman goes about setting things right - even as events conspire against him. Based on the delightful movie classic that starred Edmund Gwenn as Kringle and a young Natalie Wood, this musical version includes memorable songs such as 'Jolly Old St. Nicholas,' 'The Holly and the Ivy' and more. As we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season, we all need a little break to remember that miracles do happen.
