At a cozy holiday gathering with 40 of her dearest friends (that's you!), Becca McCoy loads up the projector, but not for your typical vacation slide show – for a journey through a year of extraordinary travel. In this new solo show, her real-life adventure of traveling somewhere every month for a year becomes a theatrical event - exploring relationships, how perspective shapes memory, and the pursuit of authenticity in life.

This December, Studio Grand Central will present the world premiere of a new solo show by award-winning actress Becca McCoy. The Year of Extraordinary Travel will have a nine-performance run at the new St. Petersburg performance space from December 8-18, 2022.
TheatreZone Presents GYPSY, March 5-15
TheatreZone, a Naples-based professional Equity theatre celebrating its 15th season of Broadway musicals, will present Gypsy, March 5-15 2020. Performances are scheduled for 7:30p.m. on March 5-8 and 11-15; 2:00 p.m. matinee performances will be presented on March 7-8 and 14-15.

They are: Home for the Holidays (Dec. 13-15, 2019); Wonderful Town (Jan. 9-19, 2020); Tonya & Nancy: A Rock Opera (Feb. 6-16, 2020); Gypsy (March 5-15, 2020); and I Love My Wife (April 16-26, 2020).
First Unity Concludes ARTS46/4's Five Month Arts Initiative In August By Featuring Music
First Unity concludes the five month arts initiative that served as the launch of ARTS46/4 with the month of August dedicated to Music. The final of the initiative's five special events, Sound Bites: A Culinary Experience with the Ibis Quartet in Concert will take place on Friday, August 24th at 7pm. In addition, O Som Do Jazz will present a free concert on Saturday, August 11th at 8pm, sponsored by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, Creative Pinellas, and EMIT, marking the first use of ARTS46/4 by an arts entity from the community to present on First Unity's campus. Finally, each Sunday in August will feature a guest instrumentalist during the services. The diverse lineup is Eirinn Abu, saxophonist, on August 5th; Wendy Luck, flutist, on August 12th; Rebecca Zapen, violinist, on August 19th; and Tommy Johnson, pianist, on August 26th.
ARTS46/4 Presents TRUST ME: An Original Immersive Theatre Experience Starring Hawk & Wayne
On Friday, July 20th, at 7pm, ARTS46/4 presents Trust Me, an original immersive theatre experience starring improv duo Hawk & Wayne as Senatorial candidates hosting a public debate. Before the public hears what the would-be Senators want them to hear, they see things the politicians don't want them to see. The event follows the candidates through vignettes curated for public consumption as well as moments of voyeurism, and culminates in the debate and the audience voting. Trust Me utilizes the campus grounds for this site-specific original work and much of the content will be improvised.
ARTS46/4 Presents POV: The Seven Deadly Sins, a Curated Gallery Exhibit and Ekphrastic Event
On Saturday, June 16th, at 6pm, ARTS46/4 presents POV: The Seven Deadly Sins, an ekphrastic event in conjunction with the curated exhibit on display in the on-site art gallery at First Unity Spiritual Campus. The gallery is open on Sundays between 9:30am and 1pm, and can be viewed by arrangement during the week. The exhibit hangs through June 30th, and all of the art is available for purchase.
First Unity Launches ARTS46/4 with a Five Month Arts Initiative
First Unity announces the launch of ARTS46/4. Named for First Unity's location on 46th Avenue and 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, ARTS46/4 is an independent-yet-integrated venue / producing partner to bridge the Arts community with First Unity Spiritual Campus. In April, ARTS46/4 will kick-off with a five month arts initiative, which includes both a dedicated Arts component in all the Sunday services, and producing a series of public special events featuring well-known members of Tampa Bay's thriving Arts community.
