Guitarist Jorma Kaukonen is a renaissance man. As co-founder of Jefferson Airplane in the mid-’60s, he was a driving force through the sounds of the Summer of Love and beyond. His side project, Hot Tuna – with Airplane bassist Jack Casady – transitioned from their initial acoustic-based repertoire and became an electric, live powerhouse.

In his own quiet way, jazz drummer Glenn Davis provided rock solid support not only for the many musicians with whom he worked, but for the friends and family who were devoted to him. Many of them will gather at the Delaware Water Gap's Deer Head Inn for a celebration of his life and a fund raiser for the American Parkinson Disease Association on Thursday, October 11 from 7:00 until 11:00 p.m.
