BWW Review: TITANIC THE MUSICAL at Landestheater Linz
The Tony Awarded Musical from Maury Yeston ( Music and Lyrics) and Peter Stone ( Book) brought back on stage at the beautiful Landestheater Linz, one of my favorite modern theatres in our hemisphere. A show with many different stories, full of tragedy and sadness, all about a supposed to be, unsinkable ship, created to write history. History was written on April 14, 1912, but not how J.Bruce Ismay ( Karsten Kenzel) hoped. It went out to become a historical tragedy, remembered even after more than a hundred years as the fatal collision with an iceberg, and many lost souls in the Atlantic Ocean.
BWW Review: SIGNATURE VINYL at Signature Theatre
Music has always been able to get us through the most turbulent times in this nation's history. With the ongoing pandemic and all the other craziness that is happening right now, Signature Theatre gives us Signature Vinyl. It's a cinematic concert experience that will make you forget everything in the world for a little while as some of Signature's top performers put their spin (no pun intended) on some classics from the 60's and 70's.

Marvin Gaye's 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' Celebrated with New Black And Purple Vinyl LP Releases
Marvin Gaye's In The Groove album was released by Motown Records in August 1968. Buried on the LP's first side, 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' – a track that was considered a cover of the Gladys Knight & the Pips' hit from the year before – became the album's third single on October 30, 1968. The song rocketed up Billboard's Hot 100 and R&B Singles charts, as well as the UK Singles chart, reaching No. 1 across all three. With the single's major international success, Motown quickly rereleased the album with the title I Heard It Through The Grapevine. Today, commemorating the smash single's 50 th anniversary, Motown/UMe reissues the album in a unique edition with its I Heard It Through The Grapevine artwork on the outside and the original In The Groove artwork reproduced on a heavyweight inner sleeve. The new LP reissue is available on black vinyl and limited edition, Sound of Vinyl-exclusive purple 'grape' color vinyl.

However, pianist Jeff Kazee appeared to be very glad to return to one of the touchstone places in his career.
