Stars of stage and screen, playwrights, composers, and supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley came together Saturday, November 2, 2019 to celebrate the acclaimed regional theatre at And the Tony Award Goes To…Celebrating TheatreWorks at 50, a once-in-a-lifetime event honoring the company's half-century and its 2019 Regional Theatre Tony® Award. Some 480 guests attended this extraordinary event which raised nearly $800,000 for TheatreWorks marking it the most attended and most successful fundraiser in the company's history. Guests appropriately gathered in the heart of Silicon Valley at Mountain View's Computer History Museum for cocktails, dinner, and a lively auction, then proceeded to the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, where a stellar array of TheatreWorks alumni returned to pay tribute to its history through words and music.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announces the launch of the first ever Party of the Decade - an extraordinary evening of food, wine, dance, and an incredible benefit auction. For its inaugural event, TheatreWorks will revisit the decade of its founding: the 1970s. A golden era for art, music, and culture, in the 1970s the world watched John Travolta strut his stuff to "Stayin' Alive," the Steve Miller band inspired San Franciscans to "Fly Like an Eagle," and in Palo Alto, a young Robert Kelley created a play for youth - the first step in creating the nationally acclaimed company known as TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. 'Hidden Hudson' & 'All Things Considered VIII' to Open at Fruitlands Museum

Fruitlands Museum presents two fascinating new exhibitions in the Art Museum this fall. Presented in partnership with the National Basketry Organization, All Things Considered VIII will feature a dazzling array of traditional and sculptural work made by the most accomplished contemporary basket makers from around the country.   Hidden Hudson will showcase rarely seen works from Fruitlands' renowned Hudson River School landscape collection. Both exhibitions will be on view September 18 – November 22, 2015.
