The Nash Sets Jazz Offerings for July

July is a packed month at The Nash, kicking off with a 4th of July bash with the Bad Cactus Brass Band. The month also marks the beginning of the Catch A Rising Star Series, comprised of Arizona musicians ages 18 to 24, who have been specially selected by The Nash,. The Series provides a platform for these emerging artists to gain prominence in the jazz community.

'The Elvis Collection' will include some of Presley's most popular performances in titles such as Roustabout, Blue Hawaii, G.I. Blues, King Creole, Clambake and more, to be announced.

The cast of the York Theatre's recent revival of The Body Beautiful - including Tony winner Cady Huffman (The Producers) and Tony nominees Brad Oscar (The Producers) and Megan Lawrence (The Pajama Game) - will go into the recording studio on April 7 to preserve Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick's inaugural Broadway score set to a book by Joseph Stein and Will Glickman.
