Review: ON THE VERGE at Fells Point Corner Theatre
ON THE VERGE, directed by Kimberley Lynne, is a delightful and thought-provoking journey through time, place and imagination. Eric Overmyer's 1986 play centers on three intrepid Victorian lady explorers-Mary(Shelby Sullivan), Alex (Barbara Madison Hauck) and Fanny (Nikki Jay)-who set out on a trek through Terra Incognita, a mysterious land filled with quirky characters, surreal encounters and unforeseen twists. The adventure starts in 1888 but extends through decades where the objects and language of the future infiltrate and mesh with the reality and thoughts of the characters in their present.

SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER By Oliver Goldsmith Comes to FPCT
Young Marlow, on his way to meet the match his father has chosen for him, arrives at a somewhat dilapidated country house and mistakes it for an inn. From there, Oliver Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer (1773) is a riotous jaunt of mistaken identity, practical jokes, and romantic shenanigans. At once both a charming love story and witty satire of romance, class, and station, it is a laughing comedy that has delighted audiences for over 230 years.
BWW Review: BLITHE SPIRIT at Vagabond Players - Community Theater at Its Best

Three families are about to be joined together as the wealthy and well-known African-American LeVay family gathers at their vacation home in Martha's Vineyard. Kent LeVay's fiance Taylor is an academic whose absent father, a prominent public intellectual, makes her less than charmed by the LeVay's posh lifestyle. Flip LeVay's girlfriend Kimber, a WASP (in her own words) who works with inner-city school children, seems to fit in well with the upper-class family.

Point Corner Theatre is proud to present their annual 10 minute play festival, 10x10x10! Our ten minute play festival has sold out so many times over the last two years we had to move it to our downstairs stage! 10x10x10 is fast becoming a staple in the Baltimore theater community, and we could not be prouder to give these new plays a home.

BWW Review: ALL IN THE FAMILY: THE LION IN WINTER
Perhaps you're a fan of the new dramatic TV series, 'The Royals,' about a fictional British royal family who face struggles like the death of the heir to the throne, conniving children and assorted romances.
THE LION IN WINTER Opens Today at Vagabond Players
The Vagabond Players continues its 100th season with THE LION IN WINTER, opening today, April 8th, and running through May 8th. Written by James Goldman and directed by Steve Goldklang, this story of the battle for the future of the crown of England between King Henry II and his estranged--but still powerful -- Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, is full of rapier-sharp wit and political drama.
