Bryn Terfel Will Bring BRYN'S CHRISTMAS to London and More
Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel will be bringing his very special Christmas show, Bryn's Christmas, to London, Swansea, Manchester and Bristol for four dates only, from 16 to 20 December. He will be joined by special guest soprano Pumeza Matshikiza and the Welsh National Opera Orchestra, conducted by Paul Bateman.

The Chamber Orchestra Of Philadelphia Presents The Second Concert Of The 2018/2019 Migrations Season
The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) explores the sound of the pipa alongside familiar European repertoire with works of Mozart and Dvo?ak. These works for strings by master composers are followed by a traditional Chinese tune arranged by COP's own Dirk Brosse. The Pipa is showcased alongside the Chamber Orchestra's sound in Lou Harrison's Concerto for Pipa with String Orchestra. Wu Man will also first introduce us to the instrument by playing a solo piece for the Pipa in the intimate setting of the Perelman Theater.

After graduation from the Juilliard School of Music, Hendricks immediately won a number of important international prizes, and began performing in recitals and operas throughout the world. A Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, she is as devoted to humanitarian work as she is to her music. Always the anti-diva, Hendricks is a down-to-earth and straightforward woman, whether singing Mozart or black spirituals. She challenges stereotypes and puts the music first and presents a warm, engaging, and honest self-portrait of one of the great women of music.

This January, he will come to Blue Note Jazz Club to present a lineup of collaborative shows that combine the worlds of jazz and reggae in perfect harmony.
