DRACULA, THE RADIO PLAY Will Be Performed on Zoom Next Week
Eight actors from New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, and one extremely overworked sound technician (all that thunder and wolf howling) came together through Zoom to perform DRACULA, THE RADIO PLAY, as it might have been done in the Lux Radio Theater in 1932 at the time of the original film’s Depression era premiere
Celebrating Actors' Community Contributions At The Theater Project
On Friday, December 11th, and Saturday, December 12th, The Theater Project put on its annual production of the radio play It's a Wonderful Life a little differently: over Zoom, where actors and audience members participated from the safety of their homes to cap off what was certainly a unique year for the arts. And that wasn't the only different aspect of this year's production.

THE GROUNDLING to Run 4/14-24 at The Theater Project
In Marc Palmieri's comedy, The Groundling, Long Island landscaper Bob Malone has been infected by the writing bug: after accidentally wandering into a low-rent production of Shakespeare's Love's Labor's Lost, he feels compelled to write his own verse play about his troubled marriage. He pays a desperate New York director to make actors out of his landscape crew in order to present a single performance in the garage for friends and family - if only Bob's angry wife doesn't run them all over with the Land Rover first.
The Theater Project to Host an Evening of DURANG
What if the STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE got a flat tire, or whatever the trolley equivalent would be? What if GLASS MENAGERIE's sensitive, fragile Laura and her collection of tiny glass animals became hypochondriac Lawrence and his collection of glass swizzle sticks? That's pretty much what happens in FOR WHOM THE SOUTHERN BELLE TOLLS and other theater satires by Christopher Durang, presented as part of THREE PLAYS IN THREE WEEKS by The Theater Project in Maplewood, NJ.
