BIO

Barbara Dana was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Dana began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Alan Arkin comedic adaptation "Inspector Clouseau" (1968), "P.J." (1968) and the Alan Arkin drama "Popi" (1969). She also appeared in the TV movie "Daughter of the Mind" (ABC, 1969-1970). She had a part on the television special "June Moon" (PBS, 1973-74). She kept working in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, starring in the Alan Arkin comedy "Fire Sale" (1977) and "The In-Laws" (1979). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Other Side of Hell" (NBC, 1977-78). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "A Matter of Principle" (PBS, 1984-85) and "Necessary Parties" (PBS, 1988-89). Dana most recently acted in "Raising Flagg" (2007). Dana's husband was Alan Arkin.
