The CW Announces Spring 2020 Premiere Dates
The CW Network today announced premiere dates for the broadcast debut of the brand new DC Universe series STARGIRL, the second season of IN THE DARK and the seventh and final season of THE 100.
STARGIRL Gets Exclusive Linear Window on The CW
The highly anticipated DC Universe series STARGIRL will now have an exclusive linear window on The CW Network, which will broadcast each episode the day after its debut on the DC Universe digital subscription service. The new DC Super Hero drama series, starring Brec Bassinger in the title role, is set to make its premiere on DC Universe in second quarter 2020, with new episodes released weekly on the first-of-its-kind digital experience.
Luke Wilson Joins STARGIRL Series
Luke Wilson has joined the DC Universe series Stargirl, according to Deadline. Wilson is set to portray mechanic-turned-superhero Pat Dugan, who pilots Stripe, a hulking 15-foot robot of his own invention.
Geoff Johns Casts the Lead for STARGIRL
Geoff Johns casts Brec Bassinger as Stargirl for streaming service DC Unvierse's s new straight-to-series drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Bassinger is best known for starring in Nickelodeon's Bella and the Bulldogs.

Tori Murray, the young star of Off-Broadway's smash hit musical RUTHLESS!, recently attended the 17th annual Nickelodeon HALO Awards at Pier 36 in New York City. The HALO Awards honor teens that are making a difference and Justin Bieber was this year's recipient of the first ever HALO Hall of Fame Award for his work with Make-A-Wish. Nickelodeon Renews Two BELLA AND THE BULLDOGS & THE THUNDERMANS
Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, today announced it has renewed live-action hit comedies Bella and the Bulldogs for season two, and The Thundermans for a third season. The announcement was made by Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production.
BELLA AND THE BULLDOGS Debuts in January on Nickelodeon
A head cheerleader's life takes an unexpected twist when her rifle-like throwing arm takes her from the sidelines to becoming her middle school's starting quarterback in Nickelodeon's newest live-action comedy series, Bella and the Bulldogs, premiering Saturday, Jan. 17, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The premiere episode will be available on all Nick platforms including Nick.com, Nick App and Nick On Demand on Sunday, Jan. 18, TeenNick on Friday, Jan. 23, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) and Nicktoons on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) during the NickSports block.
