Birth Place: Cleveland, Ohio
Aylam Orian has been acting on the stage and screen for close to three decades: in New York, Los Angeles and abroad. A graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, Aylam started his acting career in the US doing Off-Off Broadway shows in New York City. Select credits include: Dr. Astrov in "Uncle Vanya" (The Players Theatre), Antonio in "The Duchess of Malfi" (Marilyn Monroe Theatre), Paul in "Loose Ends" (The Workshop Theatre), Ben in "Beautiful World?" (14 Street Theatre) and Lieutenant Avi in "Yom Kippur" (West End Theatre). But he is probably more familiar to global audiences for his guest roles on such popular TV shows as "30 Rock", "Code Black", "NCIS: Los Angeles", and "Shooter", and most recently his series regular role (of the Nazi villain!) on MGM?s sci-fi / adventure show "Stargate Origins". On the film front, later this year he will be seen in the Clive Owen-Rosamund Pike-Joel Kinnaman thriller "The Informer," and the Matt Damon-Christian Bale racing film "Ford Vs. Ferrari".
