BWW Reviews: THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK - A Classic At Theatre Three

The Diary Of Anne Frank is truly a remarkable play heart wrenchingly highlighting the atrocities too many people unnecessarily endured simply because of the religion they were brought up on. Theatre Three's incarnation of the Tony winning classic, written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, is wonderfully directed by Jeffrey Sanzel, who is also the Artistic Director of the Port Jefferson venue. Now running through May 4th, the cast is beyond talented as they tell this horrifying tale of a young girl unwillingly forced to grow up too fast.
BWW Reviews: BACK TO BACHARACH AND DAVID at Theatre Three: An Ode To the 60's

Back to Bacharach and David is a nice little gem of a revue. I was vaguely familiar with the music, but not familiar with this particular show prior to seeing it. However, with it being directed by the fantastic Long Island theatre vet Steve McCoy, I knew the audience would be in for a treat.
BWW Reviews: AVENUE Q at Smithtown PAC - Still Fulfilling Its Purpose

With Rick Lyon at the helm, it is no surprise that the production of the Tony Award winning Avenue Q at the Smithtown Performing Arts Center is a fantastic one. Mr. Lyon was part of the original Broadway cast and is the designer and creator of the famous puppets in all of the Avenue Q incarnations.
BWW Reviews: The Humor in Looking for Love in PLAY DATES at Port Jefferson's Theatre Three

Play Dates, the latest by Sam Wolfson of Jewtopia fame, is a hilariously adorable play that speaks to everyone about a topic all too familiar: relationships. Making its Long Island premier at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson through May 5th, this production has a wonderful cast that will have you leaving the theatre laughing.
BWW Reviews: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST - A Classic at Smithtown PAC

Oscar Wilde's 'The Importance of Being Earnest' at the Smithtown Performing Arts Center is a wonderful replication of the Broadway production. In this hilarious, beautiful classic, 117 years since its first showing, it is enlightening to get a glimpse into another time period.
BWW Reviews: Theatre Three's PROOF - Raw, Real Theater At Its Finest

In the Pulitzer Prize winning play 'Proof' by David Auburn, college bound Catherine struggles with having the same brilliant knack for numbers as her mathematician father and the dreadful possibility she has inherited his dementia. Playing through January 28th at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, Long Island, this fantastically done production will surely strike a nerve.
BWW Reviews: Theater Three's 28th Annual Showing of 'A CHRISTMAS CAROL

If anything gets you into the Christmas spirit, it will be seeing Theater Threes' annual production of "A Christmas Carol". Jeffrey Sanzel, who directs and stars as Ebenezer Scrooge, has brought together an incredible cast and crew to tell this timeless Charles Dickens' tale.
