On last night's episode of 'The Late Late Show with James Corden,' James Corden and Ben Platt tell the story of a life-long friendship using 9 different sets and 12 carefully curated songs all captured in one take. The performance included songs such as Dolly Parton's '9 to 5,' Adele's 'Hello,' and The Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends."

During the interview, James asks Platt about the end of his run on Broadway in 'Dear Evan Hansen,' and how he was finally able to let loose after laying very low during the run of production. And Ben explains how a combination of karaoke, Chinese food and Stranger Things was all he needed.

City Lit Theater Hosts Celebration for 'Banned Books' Week

City Lit Theater Company, in association with the American Library Association's Office of Intellectual Freedom, will present BOOKS ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK, a celebration of BANNED BOOKS WEEK, September 24 - 30, 2017, at various locations in and around Chicago. Thanks to increased support from funding sources, the number of performances has been doubled for the 2017 festival over the 2016 schedule. All events are free to the public.
