Goodspeed Musicals will kick off its first full season of musicals since 2019 with the spring production of Kander and Ebb’s dazzling and daring classic, Cabaret. The Kit Kat Klub comes alive for the first time on the Goodspeed stage from May 13 – July 3 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn.

Jeff McCarthy Completes Cast of CHICAGO in Manila; Meet the Full Cast!
Broadway stalwart Jeff McCarthy joins the all-American cast of the Broadway musical CHICAGO, which is set to play Solaire Resort and Casino's The Theatre from next Wednesday, December 3, to Sunday, December 21. McCarthy will play the role of criminal lawyer Billy Flynn, alongside Bianca Marroquin's Roxie Hart, Terra C. MacLeod's Velma Kelly, Jacob Keith Watson's Amos Hart, Roz Ryan's Matron 'Mama' Morton, and C. Newcomer.

You could feel the excitement rising as the crowd began to enter the theatre; the pull of liquor and jazz tugging them towards their seats as the opening night of Chicago at San Francisco's SHN was about to begin. Filled with songs that have become Broadway classics, such as 'All That Jazz', 'Razzle Dazzle', 'Cell Block Tango,' and really the list goes on, the revival is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, outperforming the 1976 original which received ten nominations but no wins. Celebrity murderesses, jazz, greed, lime light, and amazingly inspired Fosse style dancing - what could be better than a night of Chicago, playing now through November 16 at SHNSF's Orpheum Theatre.

San Diego Musical Theatre "The Local Way to See Broadway" presents their first production of 2014, CATS, running two more weekends at the North Park Theatre throughApril 6, 2014. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot, CATS tells the story, in song and dance, of the annual gathering of Jellicle cats at which time one special cat is selected to ascend to the Heaviside layer. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London's New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years. CATS's London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Wintergarden Theatre for just over 18 years. Directed by James Vasquez; Choreography by Janet Renslow; Musical Direction by Don LeMaster. Matthew Novotny, Lighting Designer - Janet Pitcher, Costume Coordinator -Stanley Cohen, Stage Manager. When You Wish: The story of Walt Disney officially opened October 16 at UCLA's distinguished Freud Theatre following four successful previews (October 11 - 13). BWW TV's Los Angeles correspondents Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans were invited to visit with the cast and creative team as the world premiere musical was approaching its first preview performance. When You Wish is the first ever musical about Walt Disney who is considered not only one of the most universally celebrated, award-winning figures in entertainment history, but one of the greatest showmen on earth. The long anticipated project features an original score of 17 songs with Music and Book by Dean McClure; Direction by Broadway's Larry Raben; and Choreography by Lee Martino. Still an active performer, author and business man... film and television star, and former pop recording superstar Pat Boone co-produces When You Wish with Dean McClure and Robert Rudolph.
