Auden Thornton plays ‘Lucy’ on NBC’s “This Is Us” was awarded a special jury prize for “Breakout Performance” for her role in BEAUTY MARK at the 2017 LA Film Festival as well as the Best Actress Award at the SENE Film Music & Art Festival. A graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School, Auden has been seen in many plays on the New York stage and around the country as well as on television on CBS’s “Doubt” (recurring character),” “Bull” ”Royal Pains” “Elementary” “Forever” “The Good Wife” “Blue Bloods” “Pan Am” and in the films TRUE STORY, THE LONGEST WEEK, ARLINGTON ROAD and Steven Spielberg’s THE POST.

Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts has announced the casts, creative teams and performance schedule for the annual ESPA Drills Reading Series on August 24 and 25. Now in its sixth year, ESPA Drills is the annual new play development program providing staged readings to four playwrights. The plays are workshopped under the guidance of the ESPA staff and will be presented before an audience of industry peers Off-Broadway at The Duke on 42nd Street.
