Premiere Stages' SELLING KABUL Begins Performances This Week
Premiere Stages' production of Sylvia Khoury's play Selling Kabul will begin performances this week in Kean University's Bauer Boucher Theatre Center (Vaughn Eames Hall, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, N.J.). Selling Kabul was a finalist for the 2022 Pulitzer in Drama and this production serves as the New Jersey Premiere.

The Second City Announces Casting For E.t.c.'s 44th Revue
The Second City is proud to announce casting for The Second City e.t.c.'s 44th Revue. This year's ensemble includes returning cast members Atra Asdou, E.J. Cameron, Mark Campbell, Laurel Krabacher, and Chuck Norment. Terrence Carey will join the veteran cast in his first resident stage revue, and e.t.c. alumnus Frank Caeti will direct his first resident stage revue. Elise Wattman will take the lead as musical director, and Laura Hum will return as stage manager.

Lookingglass Theatre Company welcomes five new Ensemble Members and four new Artistic Associates into the Lookingglass family. Joining the Ensemble are Walter Briggs (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Moby Dick), Kasey Foster (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas), circus choreographer Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein), Anthony Irons (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Act(s) of God), and composer and sound designer Andre Pluess (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Eastland). New Artistic Associates include Cordelia Dewdney (Moby Dick, Hard Times), Wendy Mateo (Big Lake Big City, Beyond Caring), costume designer Sully Ratke (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas) and Matthew C. Yee (Treasure Island, Moby Dick).

As former Grinning from Fear to Fear ensemble member Andrew Knox takes his talent to the Mainstage for its 108th revue, The Second City is proud to announce that Adam Archer will be stepping onto the e.t.c.stage in his place. Archer joins all-star Grinning from Fear to Fear cast members Atra Asdou, E.J. Cameron, Mark Campbell, Laurel Krabacher, and Chuck Norment.

The Second City is pleased to announce the hottest up-and-coming diverse comedic voices in a weekend of events taking place in Chicago June 6-9, 2019. The exciting five day event kicks off with the 6th annual Bob Curry Fellowship Showcase on Wednesday, June 6th highlighting 16 of the best and brightest improvisers and sketch performers on the rise. Anchoring the weekend is The Second City and NBC's 5th Annual Break Out Comedy Festival, which spotlights a four day lineup of artists from across the country. Headlining host and returning Chicago native Godfrey (Comedy Central, VH1, BET) takes the mic on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th, with guest hosts Second City alum Christina Anthony (Comedy Central, Key and Peele) on Thursday, June 6th, and the Chicago Tribune's Comedian of the Year 2017 Felonious Munk (Comedy Central, Nothing to Lose (But Our Chains)) on Sunday, June 9th.
