Eclipse Theatre Company Announces 2018 Season
Chicago's Eclipse Theatre Company, the only theatre company in the Midwest to focus on a single playwright each season, has announced that they will feature the works of legendary American playwright William Inge for the 26th Anniversary, 2018 Season. Eclipse plans to explore the range of Inge's canon with three full productions, readings, and public events focused on the playwright and his works.

Eclipse Theatre Company, the only Midwest ensemble to feature one playwright in one season, continues its 25th anniversary, 2017 Kia Corthron season with the world premiere of Megastasis, directed by Aaron Todd Douglas, which was workshopped by New Works Brooklyn at Brooklyn College and New York Theatre Workshop.

First Floor Theater (FFT) has unveiled phtoos from the first show of their fourth season, the world premiere of ANIMALS COMMIT SUICIDE, playwright J. Julian Christopher's high-octane and darkly comic story of desire, disease, and contemporary queer life. FFT Artistic Director Hutch Pimentel directs this powerful world premiere, playing November 15 - December 12 at Collaboraction's Room 300 Theater in The Flat Iron Arts Building.
