Asher Whitehead is a young talented performer from Auckland New Zealand who has made an impression on sold out audiences through his Debut as Young Simba with Disney's THE LION KING.

2021 - 2022 Young Simba, Disney's THE LION KING International tour in New Zealand, Seoul and Busan (Korea). After a hiatus of over a year, due to COVID-19 pandemic which forced all productions of The Lion King to close, Asher had the coveted role of being the first Young Simba to grace the stage again worldwide. Asher performed as 'Young Simba' the first preview of The Lion King at Spark Arena, Auckland New Zealand on June 24th 2021.
