Music Theater Heritage has opened its 2022 Season (the company’s 20th anniversary season) with STEVIE: Signed, Sealed Delivered, an MTH original concert production celebrating the life and music of the great Stevie Wonder. Music Theater Heritage has announced the cast and creative team for the first show of its momentous 20th Anniversary Season. STEVIE: Signed, Sealed Delivered is an MTH original concert production celebrating the life and music of the great Stevie Wonder. The tribute concert features more than 25 iconic tunes ranging from Stevie’s early days at Motown and beyond. 

MOTOWN Comes To Musical Monday/Tuesday

The MTH Theater at Crown Center has announced casting for its next Musical Monday and Tuesday, scheduled April 16 and 17 at Crown Center. The performance will feature the music of motion, from Broadway and beyond. Tunes from Broadway musicals like THE WIZ, DREAMGIRLS, and MOTOWN THE MUSICAL will be accompanied by songs made famous by Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross and others. The ensemble features Asa Barnes, Lexi Brie, Shon Ruffin, Anthony Saunders, Emily Shackelford, and Shelby Winfrey. The show will be hosted by Ron Lackey, founder of Kansas City's popular Motown/Funk band 2Proud 2Beg.
