After a very challenging year for theatre workers everywhere, the Broadway Stage Management Symposium (BSMS), will unite stage managers from around the world in discussions about our art and craft in a post-pandemic world. BSMS 2021 will focus on strategies and adjustments to our practice and technique to respond to our experience and learnings during the shutdown.

Over Fourty-Two Broadway Stage Managers and Professionals will participate in the online digital experience on May 30th & 31st. Carol Becker, Dean of Faculty of Columbia University School of the Arts, announced today the appointment of two acclaimed playwrights to the faculty of the Arts: David Henry Hwang, Associate Professor of Theatre in Playwriting and director of the Playwriting Concentration, and Lynn Nottage, Associate Professor of Theatre in Playwriting.

Last night, September 23, the stars of Memphis were honored with a Wall of Fame painting at Tony di Napoli's restaurant to kick off the new Broadway season and celebrate the cast's one year anniversary on Broadway. The painting was created by Dan May. Valerie Smaldone produced and emceed the event, which was hosted by Tony di Napoli's Bruce Dimpflmaier.

For the sixth year in a row, the Wagner College Theater has been ranked by the Princeton Review among the top collegiate stage programs in the nation. The ranking appeared in the Princeton Review's 2011 'Best 373 Colleges' guide, which was released Aug. 3.
