Stable Cable Lab Announces 2017-18 Season

Stable Cable Lab Co. (Artistic Director, Lisa Jill Anderson; Producing Director, Margaret Santa Maria) has announced its 2017-18 season featuring the 4th annual LiveWire: An Evening of Short New Plays, the inaugural Static: An Intergenerational Playwrights Experiment, and the world premiere of Hal & Bee by Max Baker.
Stable Cable Lab Co. to present World Premiere of Max Baker's THE CONSPIRACISTS

Stable Cable Lab Co. (Producer, Margaret Santa Maria) will present the World Premiere of Max Baker's The Conspiracists at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B) April 22-May 7 with performances on Sat 4/22, 4/29 & 5/6 at 7:30pm, Mon 4/24, Wed 4/26, Thu 4/27, Fri 4/28, Mon 5/1, Wed 5/3, Thu 5/4 & Fri 5/5 at 7pm and Sun 4/23, Sat 4/29, Sun 4/30, Sat 5/6 & Sun 5/7 at 3pm. Tickets ($18 in advance; $20 at the door) may be purchased atwww.stablecablelabco.org.  The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced its 2017 season, which will launch tonight with its annual reading series of new plays in process. This free reading series will feature three plays in development including HOME CHURCH PLAY by Jacob Perkins tonight, February 17th, DOLLFACE by Emily Daly on February 20th, and LITTLEGHOST by Liza Birkenmeier on February 27th.
Stable Cable Lab Co. Announces Reading Series, Mainstage Production, and New Producing Director

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced its 2017 season, which will launch in February with its annual reading series of new plays in process.  This free reading series will feature three plays in development including HOME CHURCH PLAY by Jacob Perkins on February 17th,DOLLFACE by Emily Daly on February 20th, and LITTLEGHOST by Liza Birkenmeier on February 27th.  Readings will take place at 7:30pm at South Oxford Space (138 S Oxford St, Brooklyn, NY) on February 17th and 20th, and at Simple Studios (134 W. 29th St, 2nd Floor, NYC) on February 27th.  To make a reservation, e-mail StableCableLabCo@gmail.com.

Stable Cable Lab Co. raised more than $6,000 to fund the company's upcoming world premiere of In the Event of My Death by Lindsay Joy, directed by Padraic Lillis at its 2016 Spring Soiree (#SoireeDeMayo) in tandem with its online crowd funding campaign on May 5, 2016 at The New Theater Building.  The company's silent auction will continue online through May 19th, 2016 and features exclusive items including an evening with Andy Cohen of 'Watch What Happens Live' in the Bravo Clubhouse, a reading of a manuscript with a professional written evaluation from Lucy Childs of Aaron Priest Literary Agency, a custom monologue written by Lindsay Joy, private yoga and tennis lessons, and more.  For more information and to bid visit www.stablecablelabco.org.

Stable Cable Lab Co. will present Max Baker's un-romantic comedy, Because Me. The production will play a limited engagement at the Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenues A and B) now through November 7.
Stable Cable Lab Co. to Host 'Halloween Extravaganza Party' at The Wild Project

Stable Cable Lab Co. will host their first annual Halloween Extravaganza following the October 31st evening performance of Because Me written and directed by Max Baker. Join Stable Cable at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenue A and Avenue B) for a night of terrifyingly raucous entertainment, featuring live music from The Absolutely Smashed Pumpkins (led by Stable Cable ensemble members Reuben Barsky and Ian Poake), live burlesque, face painting, drinks, dancing and of course, an ultra-competitive costume contest. Stable Cable Lab Co. will present Max Baker's un-romantic comedy, Because Me. Final Workshop of THE FALL â€" BERLIN WALL PROJECT Set for Next Month

This November, as we approach the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Natalie Gershtein (Beautiful City Theatre) produces the final workshop production of THE FALL - BERLIN WALL PROJECT, a multimedia theater performance. This workshop is in preparation for the New York Premiere at La MaMa ETC in 2016 and a European Tour in 2015.

The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this new play. This project was developed, in part, through Kori Rushton and the IRT 3B Development Series.
GHOST LIGHT Web Series Reveals Backstage World

'People backstage should never be seen or heard - until now' - that's the maxim that the new web series 'Ghost Light' put to the test in its series premiere, launched recently on YouTube. An original series, 'Ghost Light' highlights the passion, humor, and frustration that working backstage can bring. Since its launch at the end of January, it has been received enthusiastically by the theater community and internet audiences everywhere.
Ken Urban's NIBBLER, Directed by Stephen Brackett Begins Performances on 11/15

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced the cast and creative team for the workshop production of Nibbler, a play by Ken Urban, directed by Stephen Brackett. Nibblerwill begin invited presentations on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios (244 W. 54th St - between Broadway & 8th Ave.) and is scheduled to run through November 23rd, 2013. The results of the workshop production - including the actors' experience with the work, the aesthetics of the director and designers, and the audience's feedback - will be invaluable to the development of this play and talkbacks will follow several performances to discuss the work.
SECOND SKIN World Premiere Begins 10/24 at American Theatre of Actors

Producers Amy Gijsbers van Wijk and Vera Khodasevich have announced the world premiere of van Wijk's play. The official opening is set for October 24th. The closing date will be November 2nd.

Doors will open at 1:30pm.
