BWW Review: SISTERS IN LAW at Theatre Or
History has its eyes on you - or at least according to Alexander Hamilton. American Political History has never been more important in today’s society than in the moments we collectively take together. Relationships and bonds between our friends and neighbors, or perhaps lack there of, is highlighted in our daily news. Sometimes, it is essential to not look at what is happening, but instead look back at what happened. In his first work by playwright Jonathan Shapiro, this ideal takes shape in the form of Sisters in Law, the newest show for Theatre Or.

In Texas, a creative new program offers an alternative to standard justice, which is helping to straighten out lives twisted by the stress of war. Scott Pelley speaks with a judge, a veteran himself, who helped found the vets program, and to some of the returning warriors it is helping, in a 60 MINUTES report to be broadcast Sunday, Oct. 14 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
BWW Reviews: Go BEYOND the Mundane @ The El Portal
Described as a mix of Cirque and French cabaret, Beyond has music -songs and a lot of dance, aerial acts, a contortionist, beautiful girls, well-toned handsome boys and many added surprises to please the senses. Conceived by Aurelien Roulin as an international type of variety cabaret, its prime goal is to entertain - and that it does quite copiously.
