The 10th season of TRAVELS WITH DARLEY brings viewers insights into the deeper meaning of travel through diverse culture, cuisine, heritage, and history as told by the locals and Darley drawing on over a decade and a half of global travels.

Exhibition Featuring Works From The Benguiat Collection Opens September 6 at the Jewish Museum
The Jewish Museum will present Masterpieces and Curiosities: The Benguiat Collection from September 6, 2019 through July 2020, featuring over 30 works from the Museum's H. Ephraim and Mordecai Benguiat Family Collection. This collection of 300 examples of decorative and ceremonial art related to Jewish culture is one of the formative groups of the Jewish Museum's collection. The exhibition includes objects ranging from a newly restored Torah ark curtain from Istanbul (ca. 1735) to an ornately embroidered silk eighteenth-century pillowcase for the Passover Seder from Bulgaria.

SAN DIEGO, July 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education, and media company, has announced a contest to find talent to debut on its acclaimed Graphix imprint for children and teen readers. Graphix focuses on creator-driven books that bring exceptional art, rich content, and strong storytelling to realistic fiction, memoir, fantasy, and more. The Graphix imprint is committed to finding and championing new voices in the children's graphic novel space. This contest will seek submissions from debut comic artists who are U.S. residents, 18 years or older, and who are unpublished and not currently under contract to publish a book with another publisher. Throngs of furious protesters gathered outside Theatre de la Ville in Paris, while inside, the sold-out theater resounded with thunderous applause. The next night, protesters pelted the audience with eggs and oil as it entered the theater. The uproar was inspired by Romeo Castellucci's adventurous theater company Societas Raffaello Sanzio's production of 'On the Concept of the Face, Regarding the Son of God.' The work has its U.S. premiere at Peak Performances in Montclair, NJ, tonight, February 14-17.

BWW Reviews: THE ODD COUPLE at Nashville Dinner Theatre
If Neil Simon were writing The Odd Couple in the 21st century, I suspect he'd write Oscar and Felix as gay men just coming out of the closet and make a lot of references about online dating, Twitter and Facebook, and the weekly poker game that is featured prominently during the onstage action would be - well, probably, it would still be a poker game (and to ensure that his characters sound hip, he would, of course, make some odd Sex and the City references, which would render it ridiculously un-hip).
