Arielle Dettmer is a multifaceted artist based in New York City and from Southern California. Her dance career began in 2014 with Debbie Allen's national tour of Brother's of the Knight. After returning from tour, she began her studies at Orange County School of the Arts in dance, singing, acting, and filmmaking.
While at OCSA, she was a backup dancer for Kidz Bop and danced on Awesomeness TV. Her love for creating and entrepreneurial spirit led her to start her photography business, Shots by Arielle. She graduated in 2020 from the Commercial Dance Conservatory with plans to study health science and dance at Chapman University that fall.
During her time at Chapman, Arielle was mentored by 3x Emmy Award-winning choreographer, Marguerite Derricks. Shortly after, she signed with Bloc Talent and began working across television, film, and theatre.
Some of her favorite credits include The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, La Mirada's The King and I, Colony Theatre’s Footloose, Vanity Fair, and Lythgoe Family Panto. Now, her work predominantly focuses on theatre in New York City.
When not performing, Arielle loves teaching dance and choreographing. In 2023, she evolved her photography business into a full service digital agency, The 951 Creative. As the owner of The 951 Creative, Arielle has had the opportunity to partner with Movement Talent Agency to bring dancers high quality reels and create content for Camp Hodge, Smart Singing, and more. She also loves grabbing an iced dirty chai and spending time with her goldendoodle, Leila, in the city!
In the fall of '24, she will be finishing her undergraduate and graduate studies at Pace University in Arts and Entertainment Management.
