Pear Theatre continues its season with Arthur Miller's classic, "A View from the Bridge," with timely reminders about the realities of illegal immigration, of jealousy born from fear, and the dangers of acting on self-destructive impulse. "A View from the Bridge," directed by Ray Renati, previews on March 9. Press and Opening Night is Today, March 10, followed by a champagne gala. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays, throughApril 2. All performances are held at the Pear Theatre, 1110 La Avenida St., Mountain View. Tickets ($10-$35) can be purchased by visiting www.thepear.org or calling (650) 254-1148.

A timeless testament to the human spirit that resonates through generations, The Diary of Anne Frank plays November 4-20, 2016 at the Lucie Stern Theater, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, and is directed by Dennis Lickteig, with Roneet Aliza Rahamim of Palo Alto in the title role.

ASSASSINS Comes to Los Altos Stage Company

Los Altos Stage Company's 21st season opens with arguably one of the most controversial Broadway musicals ever written. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by John Weidman, Assassins opens September 2 (preview performance on September 1) and runs through September 25, 2016 at the Bus Barn Theater in Los Altos.
SHE LOVES ME to Play Foothill Music Theatre This February

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents SHE LOVES ME, the charming 1963 musical adaptation of Miklos Laszlo's play Parfumerie (which later inspired the Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan feature film You've Got Mail), with a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and a book by Joe Masteroff (Cabaret).
